back to basics, mails outs, calling past clients, emailing past clients etc..
If your prospecting activities are consistent there should not be ups and downs in ones business.
Believe that it will recover. Slowdowns come - but when they do, it is hard not to fall into a funk...but it will pass, and you've got to stay positive and keep your momentum so you can charge into the improving market.
I use some of the time to catch up on paper work and marketing. And, I brainstorm ideas to grow further.
Chris - I am working on developing systems so business can remain more consistent in the future. Any slow down in business is spent on this right now.
We have a plan and we stick to it. Being consistent is a must.
Chris, when business slows down, we just dig in our heels and keep going.
Spend time on marketing Chris, I always can do more in this department.
I guess you could call it that. I go to the pool, the beach, shopping, dinner etc.
I use that time to ramp up may marketing and clean up my databases. It is a great time to tweak my social media.
I get other things done. chores around the house, personal favors, honey do requests, volunteer work and come what may. Business runs in cycles
Now some homes are not selling if they do they average 10% over asked....
WInter gym, hobby, every day there is some thing new.....
Celebrate by doing something EXTREME!
The last event was participating in the race to the top of the Bank of America building in Tampa. Forty floors up, forty floors down.
Then I take my achy-breaky parts and spend the next hours working ON my business, not IN my business.
What are the problems for which I have the solutions and how do I make the solutions available to others and profitable for me? Who has those problems? How can I reach them with my solution?
That is how many of the services I provide, unidentified by acronyms came into being.
I never am at a loss for things to do. It's just a little harder paying for them when business is slow!
Take a day and clean the house, work in the garden, etc. Then ramp up the marketing and find some business.
Get out of the office. and focus outside of business. Ideas usually flow when you are not looking for them. A
Sometimes it is nice when it slows down, and enjoy it. Other times get nervous and ramp up print and digital marketing!
