Larry,
We had a client who wanted one. It was not worth the money, or the enegy we all put in to it. It was abandoned, when it was clear that the client did not need it. It is a vanity item in our opinion. A

Larry,
The thought has crossed my mind but so far I haven’t seen enough benefit to me or my clients to justify the cost. I would like to see a great example if someone has pulled it off.

I use a company called smarteragent and have my own app, I highly recommend them. Way better then the app my brokerage allows all the agents to download and since it is your own app you can control a lot more.

I think there are too many apps out there already, if a supplier of mine asked me to upload theirs onto my phone I would refuse unless they gave me a tremendous incentive to put it on.

No. I really can't see the point of having one made. One of my lenders has an app I can use that works like the MLS client portals... that never get used. I'm not in the market to try and compete with the Realtor.com/Zillows of the app world.

I agree with Ron and Alexandra Seigel. My brokerage provides a good mobile version of my website and more than that doesn't seem cost effective for me.

I would only get an app if I was flooded for requests from loyal customers who had to have an app. (from me)
If they are loyal, you can give them the information that they will find useful in so many other ways, and they will use you anyway.

App....what's that?
I heard it defined as the new GOLD RUSH.
Larry Ramsey give me a call.
Need expert advise to determine if a moble website and/or app is the soloution for my project.
So my real question is related to WHAT IS IN MY BEST INTEREST.
An app for a calculation intense function or stick with what has been proven?
Best of success,
Annette
