NO it was the flexability of the job and the ability to educate and help people in this career.
David Barr - Flipped a property and got the bug! Real estate had always interested me and I had a license some years previously, but never found that spark until this one property.
No. cute house btw
One in Tampa FL. A family friend told my husband 'he'd handle [the sale of our house]' at my mother in law's funeral. My husband agreed and he doesn't get to make RE decisions any more. ;) Terrible agent, unnecessarily stressful sale. We were fortunate to have an AMAZING title company, Masterpiece Title. They kept us posted while the agent was MIA.
The second was a model here. I was trying to convince my folks to buy it. The broker came out and said "I'd like to hire you NOW, please get your license." I never did work for her, but I did serve with her on boards and I still blame her for me getting into this God forsaken profession. 3:)

David Barr No, my Wife got into real estate first because of the flexibility. Little did we know.
No, just figure it would be a good business to get in.
Not a particular home, but a change in careers.
No, it wasn't property that made me get into this business.
My husband and I decided to do fix n flips, so I went to school for real estate, and decided this was a better career choice.
Not a particular property! It just sort of fell into place!
No, not just one...
I love Victorian houses and very modern style.....never had a chance....yet!
My own purchase and experience. I thought I could do better.
It was actually two properties. It was the first two I bought. Those transactions didn't go smoothly. I knew I could do a good job for my clients, so I got my license. It took me a few years to get to that point, because I had other commitments, but I finally got there.
Great job on that home David! For me it was the ability to educate and make a difference in people's lives.
Yes, the home I was living in at the time and wanting to keep it.
Divorce got me into real estate, not one particular property
Yes, a farm I bought in 89.
