I take care of "normal" business inside my home office that doesn't involve being out with clients. There's always plenty to do.

Love snow days to get other busines done. Always something to do.

In that scenario, all you can do is catch up on work at home. Check websites, write blogs, take a break, etc.

I forewarn any clients with whom I have appointments that I may not be able to make it, and plan for working at home rather than risking the roads unless the storm is lighter than predicted.

It's funny, I remember during Hurricane Matthew I got a call from a company trying to sell me something and wanted me to get on the computer. I told him we were in the middle of a storm and I had no power at that time. He didnt understand, I told him to watch the news and I hung up. 

I'd probably going through and check on any leads that needed attention, check emails. Clean up computer desktop and do some general work housekeeping until you feel like you can step away and take a break!

It depends on the situation including what infrastructure is up and running.

While it's rare I enjoy the time I have and try to focus on personal, and business, stuff - errands, chores, etc. Be safe!!

It is a good time to update your database or read a good book.

I would blog, make phone calls, make sure my tax records are all in order for the year, work on marketing materials, plan for next year, and then go outside and shovel and throw snowballs at someone.

Well we don't get snow storms but we do get 'dirt storms (haboobs) in the summer time.  Anybody with any smarts stays inside and hunkers down until the storm has blown through!

Always lots of marketing to do...and then there is the whole cook your brains out for stress relief thing..it's soup-er !

As others have responded I look for things that don't involve "going out".  Be safe.  Be productive(or have fun).   

I do abnormal business. I complete bpos, check with all my clients, check current listings, pending sales and what is closing. Update books, make calls and fish for listings

Snow days are new to me after just relocationg from Florida. Catch-up on paperwork, review a few things, then sit back and relax!

I go to my "On my business list."

Go to the studio and make a few videos. (The studio is adjacent to the kitchen)
Read up on some blogging topics.
Spy on other enterprises to see what they are doing on line>
Grab the 'GOPRO' and make some memories that will become part of the Chamber of Commerce part of the listing movie.

Bet my neighbor that there is not one single teenager willing to earn some money through the strength of their back.

Then I would go act my age. That will be FUN!

This is the time to work on marketing plans and read up on subjects to make oneself better.

Read mostly.

What's normal?  LOL   Seriously though, this would be a great time to work ON your business.... AND knock some holiday prep off of your list too.  ;)

I get caught up on all the paperwork

One of the greatest things about being a real estate agent is that we don't have to be in an office 9-5.  We run our own business.  Enjoy your day inside doing what ever you choose!

When I'm snowed-in, which is rare, I'm still making my calls and working - just doing so from my home office...and enjoying the views, of course!

  We get a hurricane every few years.  You hunker down and do the best you can!

Binge blog.

There are many things I plan on doing on snow days/

Housework, the all important Netflix binge.

Those days I have a long list of things to do for marketing whether it is getting post cards label in advance  to go out.

There's always something to do as long as there's power and Internet.

I am with Nina Hollander on this ... there is always something to do. This time of year ...there is planning for next and preparing tax files. Great projects for cold stormy days. 

Ahhh... what a great time to do planning for 2017.  Stay warm and safe.

Well I've shown property after a foot of snow has fallen over night. It's Colorado and we are pretty use to bad winter weather. Although when you can't get out, or the clients don't want to battle the weather, it's still business as usual with my laptop and smart phone. 

Mandated day at home.  Catch up with computer work, update web site, clean closets, read a good book.
