Beadle is the new word of the day. You will be (as the saying goes) amazed to find the meaning of this one.  Look close to the word and how it’s spelled.  It has nothing to do with a home in one sense but in another you do not want to meet this person.  So I’ll give you two different meaning and I’ll let you guess which one you wouldn’t want to meet.  The first meaning of (bed’l) is a messenger of a law court, the second a minor parish officer in the Church of England, who kept order I church.  Have you guessed which one you wouldn’t want to see knocking on your door?  What say you?

Privatism is the new word of the day. You bet ya I know of people who have this problem.  Once you read the meaning I’ll bet you know of some people who also are afflicted with this issue.  The spelling of the word should give you a hint as to its meaning.  Haven’t guessed it yet OK the meaning of (pri’ve tiz’em) is concern only with one’s private life and personal involvements rather than with public affairs, social values, etc.  So what say you?

Otosclerosis is the new word of the day. Here we go again :~) you just got to love the English language.  Word does not recognize this word and I can’t blame it.  I know a host of people that has this problem.  Some are agents and some or clients.  Regardless I’ll bet you know of people who may not have this disease but does have this problem.  The meaning of (ot’o skli ro’sis) is a growth of spongy bone in the inner ear, causing progressive deafness.  Does it not seem that some clients and agents only hear what they wanted to hear?  What say you?

Jenesaisquoi is the new word of the day. The word of the day is pronounced (zhen sa kwa’) which is a mouthful.  We are faced with this sometimes although those of us who have a vivid imagination can deal with this issue.  There is however agents and clients that cannot so have you guess the meaning?  My guess would be you haven’t so the meaning is something elusive, or hard to describe or express.  Haven’t you had those listings that you search for words on how best to describe them?  Just think of the new word to add to your vocabulary but I would suggest not using it to much.  Enjoy the day

Incrassate is the new word of the day. All I can say is tasty.  What a wonderful way to start the day with this or at least the meaning I’m going to give it.  Are you a cook?  Do you like to make tasty stuff I know I do?  So without further adieu the meaning of (in kras’at) is to make or become thick or thicker in consistency.  Of course my thoughts turn to gravy ladled over some hot biscuits with maybe a side of hash browns, ham, bacon or sausage… Hummmm tasty

Tatterdemalion is the new word of the day. OK you word sleuths let’s see if you can get this one.  When I was a cop in Bentonville AR. I saw this person from time to time with this.  Come on give it a try before you look at the meaning of the word.  The person was of course Sam Walton the man of Wal-Mart.  Unless you knew him you would have never guessed it.  So I won’t keep you in suspense any longer the meaning of (tat’er di mal’yen) is in tatters; worn and ragged, wearing torn and ragged clothes.  Mr. Walton was quite the character and is truly missed.  If your ever near Bentonville take time and visit the museum in the downtown square call me and we’ll do lunch nearby at the local burger stand they are tasty.  Who knows I may even wear my tatterdemalion.

Enchiridion is the new word of the day. I know I’ve written about this before but used another word I found.  Apparently like so many words depending on where you look there are several different meanings.  I remember just the other day I found a word and wrote about it.  Apparently some ambitious person looked into another source and found a totally different meaning.  SO THEREFORE I will repeat it again I find 99.99% of my words in Webster’s®.  If there is another meaning and you find it good for you.    Now the meaning of (en’ki rid’e en) is a handbook; manual.  Again that was mouthful enjoy the day.

Vainglorious is the new word of the day. Morning all hope you had a restful sleep and are ready to take on another day.  So to start it off I’ve given you a rather easy word to decipher this time.  For those of you who follow me on Wordsmith or new word of the day you can tell the rest of them this one is easy.  So if you haven’t guess it yet the meaning of (van’lor’e es) is boastfully vain and proud of oneself.  While we each need to boast to the fine line going over the line will have your clients running away from you instead of coming towards you.  So do you know someone who is vainglorious?

Philia is the new word of the day. This word is Greek in origin and it means something everyone needs. Young, old or anywhere in between we all crave this in some sort of way.  Some of us look for it in strange places or things.  So not to confuse anyone the meaning of (fil’e) is tendency toward; strong or abnormal attraction to.  For some of you it could be the opposite sex, food, toys, guns, fishing equipment, tobacco and the list goes on.  Mine is my faith and family what say you?

Penetration is the new word of the day. Yes James said it penetration is the word of the day.  Now you people get your mind out of the gutter you should know better by now but for those of you who don’t just read on.  We as agents, inspectors, loan agents and the like need to have this ability to survive in this market. So before your mind goes back into the gutter the meaning of (pen’I tra’shen) is keenness of mind; discernment; insight.  We all need these abilities to cope and make headway in the market.   Wapen-take is the new word of the day. Don’t know what to say about this one.  I found this one by mistake as I was hoping for another word to post today.  This word had such an interesting meaning I just couldn’t pass it up.  So not to keep you on the edge of your seat because I know you all want to know the meaning so here is the meaning of (wap’en tak’) is a subdivision in England of certain northern counties originally under Norse domination.  Now aren’t you glad you have this word in your vocabulary?

Fainéant is the new word of the day. OH B-U-D-D-Y! How many people do I know that fall into this category.  Man how to word this and not sound judgmental?  Well I really don’t know of any way so I’ll go back to the old standby and ask you how many people do you know who fall into this category?  But I guess you want to know the meaning of (fa’ne ant) is a lazy; idle person.  So how many do you know?

Diffidence is the new word of the day. Read the new word of the carefully.  Not that you have done so what do you think it means?  I’ve seen people who possess this problem.  Sometimes I’ve had this problem myself and I think most of us have experienced this problem from time to time.  So if you haven’t guess the meaning of (dif’e dens) is lack of confidence in oneself, marked by hesitation in asserting oneself; shyness.  So now what say you or do you know an agent who suffers from this problem?
