I when I was working at my former agency knew of an agent that was terrified of this.  This agent would write a listing contract or be working with a buyer and ask several other agents to look over the contract.  I would expect this for the first two maybe three times but after that if you don’t have it you just don’t.  Maybe you need to seek another line of employment.  Anyway the meaning of (nel) an omen of death or failure.  So the death would be that of your business and this agent was terrified of failure.  Death will come to all of us but I’m in no hurry to get there.  I do not plan on failure of my business what about you?

Talk about a tough one this is it. I experience with when my wife gives me a hug and a kiss. This is actually a byword and the original was the name of a city in Italy. Since then it has had several meanings but this one is something we all crave. The byword (-rit’ik) meaning is extreme luxury and a seeking for pleasure and comfort. The best know anecdote of the Sybarites is their defeat in battle. For this post we will use the byword and may you experience sybaritic in your daily life.

Well alright then when reading my Webster’s© and finding this word I looked at my study book from my classes.  No where could I find this word but we deal in this every day.  I thought it was interesting and therefore I posted it.  The meaning of (tur’me.nes) a boundary or limit, a boundary stone or marker.

Yes it even happens to me.  I need to remotion at least two of my signs.  I don’t like doing this but if you’re an agent you need to do this from time to time.  I know of some agents that do not do this.  They continue to let their signs stay in the same place.  So anyway I don’t want to get into trouble.  The meaning of (ri mo’shen) the act of removing.  I’m losing two listings this weekend and I need to remove the signs.

OK you guys did I get your attention? Ladies I don’t know if you even know what this one is. If you are into this thing then you should but if not it’s most likely you don’t know. I can tell you I’ve seen them in real life and on the movie screen. Want to treat your clients to something unexpected buy them a hitching post. The meaning of (pol’fre) a saddle horse, esp. a gentle one for a woman.

I know I have some of you scratching your heads and wondering where this is going.  I must admit I was a late bloomer in some aspects and early in others.  This word has two meaning and I will give you both.  I am still growing in one of the meanings.  I do think that one never fully develops in the latter meaning.  The meaning of (gren’ in) becoming more mature and less naïve, esp. in one’s understanding of social and political forces.

As the story goes a man loved to fish.  One day his wife asked to go and being the good natured man that he was they loaded up the next day and took off for the water.  It wasn’t long before the man knew he had made a big mistake.  His wife kept rocking the boat, would not be quite, could not find the bait and did not know how to tie the bait on.  But the real clincher was that she caught more fish than he did.  He went home humiliated and vowed never to take her fishing again.  As for me if my wife caught more fish I would not care what kind of ruckus she made just get the job done.

I don’t know about you but I can assure you I am very much this.  Actually I’ve been this since I started real estate.  The issue is how I improve to accomplish this.  I want more of it and I am constantly looking for ways to get it done.  The meaning of (e soor’e ent) to be hungry voracious.  I want to get all I can and I’m sure you do to.

Now, now take your time and reread the heading.  I can just see some of your faces and the smile.   May you experience this in all your dealings for this year and the years to come?  Now I guess you want to know the meaning of (doos) pleasant or hospitable.  Now go out and spread the joy

For those of you who try and find this on word I’ll save you the time and trouble.  Word does not recognize this word but Webster’s© does.  We as agents take on this responsibility when we show our clients the homes.  If we are the listing agent we also take on a certain amount of this responsibility.  The meaning of (shat’ l an) the keeper of a castle.

I do this several times a year.  I use different words to express the statement but it’s the same thing regardless of the wording.  So from my family to yours may you reap the benefits of this word?  Remember however you need to work for this not just sit on your duff.  The meaning of (be at e tood’) perfect blessedness or happiness.

I have recognized this in my colleague's and clients.  You try and get those who practice this to do the opposite but most of the time you're talking to a wall.  They have done this so much they don't realize what's happening.  I would challenge you to be careful around these people and not ask them for any assistance or their opinion.  The meaning of (a stat' ik) unstable; unsteady, not taking a definite position or direction.

I bet most of you will read the heading and just past this one on by.  You may think you know but do you really?  We practice this every day and you better know this word for word.  Plus you need to stay on top of this one just in case it changes which it does from time to time.  The meaning of (le’jist) a person who has special knowledge of the law, or of some branch of it.

So tell me will you embrace this word or just read this post and move on never thinking of it again?  If you don’t remember anything else during this early part of the year should you forget why you’re in real estate write this one down and read it monthly or more often if needed.  The meaning of (kik’e) stimulating; exciting.  Real estate needs to be exciting so you can enjoy your work not dread it.

In my former workplace this was an everyday occurrence.  There are actually two different meanings to this word.  One we use to an extent and the other in law enforcement.  Let’s use the law enforcement one first.  The meaning of (jus’iv) to command to be in violent movement.  You had to command the situation or otherwise you would not be effective and therefore not last very long.  In real estate the other meaning would be expressing a command.  We I our contracts command certain thing for our clients.  We don’t always get them but they tell us what they want and it’s our duty to express their wishes in writing.

I tell you this Mr. Webster © is one knowledgeable character.  I just open the book he wrote and like magic there is another word.   OK 10 extra points if you know this one without looking.  This is something we do not want to happen to our contracts but it does happen so guard it well.  The meaning of (vish'e at) to make (a contract, or other legal instrument) ineffective; invalidate.  I promise the section enclosed (  ) was just out of the book.  That one I did not make up or change the wording at all...

When I wrote my first contract I used verbiage that made perfect sense to me since I had used it for 29 years.   Well did I get a rude awakening as the broker understood what I meant but I had to re-write the whole thing and bring it up their understanding.  The meaning of (ab fus'kat)to cloud over; obscure; make dark or unclear.  Make your contracts clear so that anyone who reads them can understand it.

Tell me do you like the title?  I thought it was something else but now the meaning of the post.  When growing up we were taught the basics by our parents, guardian or others.  What we learned to control and for the most part developed was the heading.  We learned to develop a backbone when needed to right a wrong or to stand up for something we strongly believed in.  We developed a funny bone to laugh because what is life if not for a good laugh now and then.  Finally a wishbone for those things everyone has one of and that is a wish.  It may be for peace on earth, more money or love but we all have them so what is yours?

Ok if you don’t know what this word means standby for the rest of the post. I really don’t know anyone who experiences this phenomenon. The decision is up to you and whatever one you make at the time is the right one. Now for those of you reaching for the Webster’s © no need to do it here is the meaning of (e byoo’ le) loss of ability to exercise will power and make decisions. Unless you’re in a mental institution you have the ability to make a decision. My decision is to double my sales in 2011 what’s yours?

In my earlier life this would have been a no brainer.  Now that I have aged (very little) I have found that my earlier thoughts were not true.  While I still think some people need to be put away for various crimes they have committed the average person is not one of these.  The meaning of (lo’zel)a worthless person.  All people have worth some just don’t know how to obtain it.
