Short sales are only as hard as we allow them to be.  The market has definetly picked up and turn times are getting better.  One thing I realize is that the short sale market is here for the forseeable future.  let's face it, you take a lisitng and have to get two times as much documentation as you would normally have to from a seller to be in compliance.  After the paperwork is in, you market the property and bring a buyer.  The lenders have gotten more proficient and quicker at evaluating these deals and some can close within 60 days.  That is't the hard part though.  WE asa agents know the hard part is getting on the phone and going thru the same 20 questions with 2 CSR reps at the lender before you can have a half intelligent conversation with a negotiator that is frazzled beyond th... 04/13/2011
