Have you ever stayed at the "Wigwam Motel" on (Route 66) in Holbrook Arizona?   I guess they just don't make Motels like the use to and here is a prime example of that! I first came across the "Wigwam Motel" last year on our drive to Roswell New Mexico for the Fourth of July. I snapped a bunch of photographs and posted them at Activerain and received some very interesting comments last year in 2009. The "Wigwam Motel" has been designated as a Landmark building in Holbrook Arizona and I think you can see why. I have never seen anything like it and I think Vegas Bob will have to stay in one of these Motel rooms some time in the future and shot another Video. Some "Petrified Wood" dates back almost 4 Million years, it's hard to believe wood has been on Planet Earth that long but it has! This Video was taken in Holbrook Arizona on our way back from Roswell New Mexico and the colors of the "Petrified Wood" is breath-taking! This Video was shot when I was in a hurry because the store was closing but I have another short Video where I am more relaxed and not jumping so much with the Video camera.
