One of the top Scottsdale area restaurants, elements, can be found in Paradise Valley at The Sanctuary Camelback Mountain resort. The decor at elements is sleek and elegant and the views are astounding. The Sanctuary resort is nestled into the side of Camelback Mountain and the restaurant capitalizes on this. Diners are treated to the twinkling lights of Paradise Valley estates on the hillsides to the north. elementshas been in the press a lot over the last couple of years as the Executive Chef, Beau MacMillan, was a winner on the Food Network's Iron Chef competition and starred in a reality TV show centered around cooking. Celebrity aside, the food and ambiance are the main stars at elements. The menu is based on very fresh, seasonal ingredients. Meats are hormone free and any seafood ...

A Little known Historic gem about a neighborhood in Paradise Valley called  "Casa Blanca" I often wonder how many people know about the local history of Casa Blanca in Paradise Valley?  It was an early Arizona resort frequented by Hollywood's elite (I've been told Marilyn Monroe frequented Casa Blanca), complete with its own landing strip for private aircraft, a movie star could easily slip in and back out.  Originally the home of the Donald Kellogg family and designed/built by R.T. "Bob" Evans in the 1920s, the Casa Blanca Inn was used by the Warner Borg company in the late 1940s as a corporate retreat, complete with its own landing strip. It became the Casa Blanca Inn and opened to the public circa the early 1950s and continued to operate as a resort through the 1970s. It was loc...

John Cunningham of Coldwell Banker points out how important it is to have a home free of clutter BEFORE it is marketed on the MLS.  Basic marketing tip: Get rid of the clutter. If you are ready to sell your Paradise Valley Home, Scotsdale home, or Biltmore home you are going to need to be better than the competition in the most basic things, like keeping clutter to a minimum.

This home was sold back in 2007.  The famous singer no longer owns this home, but the legacy will live on since they resided in it for over 25 years and is a huge Arizona icon. I once worked for a company that made deliveries to this home, my co-worker was always soooo excited to make the delivery as she was a HUGE fan of the singer. Have you guessed who it is yet? Ok..ok..ok..I’ll give you a hint.  It may sit on a perfect lot, with a view of Camelback Mountain, there’s no snow covered mountains, no landslides to bring it down. =) Search Arizona Homes   Get social with us!

Many people are considering a Short Sale of their home in Paradise Valley Arizona.  Considering that more than 50% of homes are "under water" in Arizona - in other words - the homes are worth less than the loan balances owed - it's not surprising that homeowners are looking for solutions to avoid foreclosure in Paradise Valley. A Short Sale is one such solution. If you are in the minority - that your home is worth more than you owe on it - then you need read no further. By definition a Short Sale is a regular resale with one distinct and significant difference.  The agreement of your lender(s) to accept less than the balance owed on the loan(s). Whether or not you meet the other "requirements" of your lender(s) such as a "valid" hardship can only be determined by consultation with a s...

Based on interviews with luxury agents, the top 10 must haves for today's multi-million dollar homes follow: Elevator car lifts, indoor car washes - Luxury homeowners spare no expense for their priceless automobiles.  Avid car collectors, especially in city homes where property size is limited, install elevator car lifts to expand garage capacity.  Keeping a fleet of cars clean is no small feat.
