Things to do in Indio, CA - Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino A top venue I recommend to visit while you're in Indio, California is the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino. The Rock Yard lets you enjoy live music outdoors every Saturday night under the stars with tribute bands during the summer months. By the way, summer months in the desert actually go from mid March through September. The Rock Yard is one of my favorite venues to go to on a Saturday night in Indio. Every Saturday night offers a different tribute band resembling the likes of AC/DC, Prince, and Bon Jovi.
