Travis AFB Homes/Off Base Housing. The housing market around Travis AFB is ideally suited for our military members. With low home prices and low interest rates many military personnel stationed at Travis AFB can afford to own homes for less then their Base Housing Allowance. Some concerns with home ownership while serving have to do with PCSing. Although PCSing is a real possibility this concern is mitigated in this way.
