203k lender Benicia and Vallejo CA A client shared this video with us on his new home purchased with the FHA 203k loan guarantee program with financing from Tina Norman of First Mortage. Quite exciting to see a home buyer realize their dream.  I remember years ago I wanted to get a clean photo of the exterior of a home and tried to convey that to the owner that was working in the front yard. I asked him if he would mind if I took the photo and he politely walked into the house. Just as I was about to shoot the photo, he came back out with his kids and wife and they all posed on the front porch for the photo. Life is good.

Hello Everyone,   A new campaign has been initiated to get more eligible homeowners into the Home Affordable Refinance Program, or HARP. In addition, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced that the Making Home Affordable program, which includes the Home Affordable Modification Program, or HAMP, would be extended for another year through 2016. The Obama Administration is hoping that both programs will find more momentum, despite being around for more than five years with mixed results. So it appears the US is still looking out to save those who are looking for help but sometimes there are restictions to these programs as well. It never hurts to try, but if all else short sale may be a option. Contact me Tim Garton 707-315-5555 your Vallejo Ca Remax Realtor and the surronding areas of Vall...

Hello Everyone, Economist are predicting that homeowners who landed mortgages in recent years with rates under 4 percent will be reluctant to sell their homes in the coming years, because they would have to forfeit the low rates on their existing mortgages. It has been projected that an increase in interest rates to 5 percent will cause a 5 percent decline in existing home sales from current levels. In addition, a rise to interest rates of 6 percent could cause a 15 percent decline in sales.   That being said, inventory of homes right now in Vallejo Ca in 140 active listings which is above last years numbers by 35% aprx.   For more information on Vallejo Real Estate and if your thinking of buying or selling "Call Today" 707-315-5555    Tim Garton Vallejo REMAX      WWW.PROPERTYINVALLEJO...

Hello There, The Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage insurance program is managed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which is a department of the federal government. FHA loans are available to all types of borrowers, not just first-time buyers. The government insures the lender against losses that might result from borrower default. Advantage: This program allows you to make a down payment as low as 3.5% of the purchase price. Disadvantage: You'll have to pay for mortgage insurance, which will increase the size of your monthly payments. If you've had a bankruptcy filing or a home foreclosure in the past, you may find it easier to qualify for an FHA loan. Most conventional mortgage loans end up being purchased by either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. These or...

Hello Everyone, Owning a home is still many people’s idea of the American dream. Historic-low mortgage rates over the past several years have helped more consumers realize this dream. Yet purchasing a home still requires a major financial investment and a long-term commitment, and great realtor help! 1. You are budget-savvy. Your monthly finances -- how much money is coming in and how much is going out -- are key to figuring what you can afford to spend on a new home. 2. You have saved for a down payment. Lenders may expect you to have a down payment worth at least 20 percent of the home’s cost. That means you would need a $30,000 down payment to buy a home priced at $150,000. Some first-time homebuyers qualify for government-backed loans that require a lower down payment.3. Your debt...
