Yountville with its six Michelin stars is reputed to have the highest number of these twinklers per capita than any other place on this earth. With its tiny population of 2,933, per the 2010 US census (about 800 in this number living in The California Veterans Home), and six stars it isn't hard to understand this math. The French Laundry leads all with three stars, its fifth successive year doing so, and single stars for Redd, Bouchon and Etoile at Domaine Chandon.
