For those outside the region, Publix is a grocery store chain that has great variety, high quality fruit and vegetables, and first class customer service. Opening day I joined the crowd of locals touring the new business. There were the usual giveaways, food samples and nifty cold transport bags. A person could have had a filling lunch just wandering around eating free samples. And of course I did.
