School Board members voted to change attendance zones for seven schools, including two controversial moves that will take students from Riverglades Elementary School in Parkland and from Lyons Creek Middle School in Coconut Creek. Next year, 250 students will move from Riverglades to Park Trails Elementary School in Parkland, and 98 students from Lyons Creek to Margate Middle School. The moves were among seven the board approved for the 2009-10 school year. My kids played soccer for the first time this year. I got to know the parents well. Considering we would spend twice a week for an hour while the kids would practice and then on game day. Soccer is now over and closing cermoinies are on Sat. Our team got together last sat for a picnic with just there team members. My husband and I took a bunch of photos during the season. He decided to make the parents a gift with all the pictures from the season. Well not all cause there were way to many, but enough. He put them all in a CD with a flip album as well and a file with photos they could edit themselves. He made the outer covers and wrote on the CD. The other day I told you about the Sun- Sentinel, how they were advertising about local buyers seminars.  They had place mine and another local agent. There's is on the 24 of this month and mine is on the 28. I got a phone call this morning from someone interested in the Seminar. Originally he wanted the 24. The sooner the better, I explained to him that the one being held on the 24 was by someone else. he told me he tried to call that agent but never returned his phone call. He said he would wait till sat. He sent me an email to registered his seat. My question is, If you are going to advertise for something, why not answer the phone, or return a phone call? Buyers have contacted you and you have gone through pre - qualifing them. Sent them listings and have narrowed the search done to where you are now ready to head out to go looking at the homes. This is the best times, especially when its first time home buyers! Now when you are showing them these houses do you:  Allow the buyer to bring in beverages or food into the home?  Allow them to bring there pets in?  Leave them alone in the home? OK my domain is set to expire in April through Point2Agent. I recently paid for the website for the year and now I am trying to transfer my domain over to godaddy.com. Problem is, I am having such a hard time doing it. First I had to register, ok I knew I had to do that. Then go through of transfering over and entering my domain with them. Only to have them send and email to acknowledge that I have done so. Now I thought all I had to do was confirm it like any other normal site. No of course not. I had to enter a ID and special password. OK I go back into my email and find what I need there. I think I am getting there. Then what happens? I need an auth. code to finalize the transfer. Happy Birthday Andrew!   So my youngest is now turning the big 3. To be honest I have no idea where the last three years went. They just flew by. When I found out I was pregnant with him I was in total shock. You see Anthony was only 9 months old when I got pregnant. Boy I couldn't believe it. Now here I am 3 years later and my little 3 year old thinks he is five.                 A very active 3 year old no less. He has a Big Sister and Big Brother to show him how things are done. So I see him so much more advance then then other 2 were at his age. Tommorrow we will be heading down to the Gold Coast Train Museum to see Thomas the Train. OK my traffic here on the Rain is great. Activerain has wonderful google juice. I have been quite happy with my blog here. My problem? My traffic for my website is poor, almost no traffic. Its with Point2 and now we are having to pay for the Standard Membership. I paid for the whole year. I have my web address on all my blogs and my business cards, flyers. You name it. Here we are going through the budget once again because they need to cut back. Why is it that our kids are always the first ones hit with budget cuts? Broward County school officials are considering cutting several sports at middle and high schools because of budget cuts, the Broward County School Board learned during a budget workshop Monday.Middle school volleyball, softball and swimming could be cut, while high school golf, tennis, water polo and boys' volleyball also face elimination next year. What sports the school district would eliminate would be based on participation rates. So now we have to sit back and watch to see whether or not the sports will be gone. I mean if we are to sell, rent or help buy a home you should be a part of: NAR- National Association of Realtors Far- (if you are in Florida) Florida Association of Reatlors Have access to your local MLS- that means being a part of your local Board of Association. You should be able to get into your local listings- That means if you need a SupraKey if the lockbox is not a combo lockbox. You need access to the internet, you should have at least a laptop to do so. Have a simple cell phone. I know that this sounds silly and that MAJORITY of Realtors are a part of and do these list of things. But I have seen some that are not and do not particpate with the boards.
