Photographed in August of 2008 at a state park at the edge of the Mississippi River while on vacation near Galena, Illinois.  This made us laugh out loud at the absurdity, especially considering it was about 20 feet away from the edge of the water.  We took a look at our GPS unit and started laughing even harder:   Do you think it was time to change course?
