This photograph was taken on a sunny day in September. It is often easier to get good flower photographs on a cloudy day when there are no shadows. Subhash Sharma  This lovely pink lily flower is perhaps one of the most celebrated flowers that there is. It is considered sacred, and it is associated within the highest realms of Buddhism, with the Buddha himself, many kings, and the highest deity often depicted with this plant. Be a Great Neighbor! We have a snowy day in Maryland. When I was out shoveling snow today, I also did some snow removal for three of our neighbors. It is a good time to provide a helping hand to elderly or disabled neighbors. A broken hip or other injury resulting from a fall on snow or ice can take away the independence that most try to maintain.
