Today I read a post written by Maria Gilda Racelis  "Is It Okay if We Borrow The Pictures You Took of Our Property?"   This is a post where her and a seller have parted ways for whatever reason as we sometimes do and now the sellers are asking if the new agent they now want to use can use her pictures from the previous listing.  This seems to me to show a feeling from the get go that they are not confident in the abilities of their new agent.  When you are hiring someone especially a licensed professional, you do so because you have faith in their abilities.   If you start off with a lapse of faith then how do you think things will proceed from there?  Especially if someone you hire is willing to use the work of another? When you decide to hire a professional to market your home you wan...

When home buyers think of Warwick, NY, they often think of the things the area is best known for - tranquil forests, fresh farm stands, and beautiful, large homes in pastoral settings surrounding this quaint, trendy upstate New York town. I can almost hear the music playing in the background! But Warwick is also known for...(pause for dramatic effect) TAXES! Property taxes for many of Warwick's stunningly beautiful homes are also stunningly high. In 2007, Orange County, NY was ranked #25 in the highest property taxes in the U.S. by county. That's #25 out of 775 listed by the Tax Foundation. Westchester was #3 in the nation. Bergen County was #5 and Rockland County was ranked #7. That being said, there is still no comfort in being #25. And it hasn't changed much.  Why? One reason is Warw...

Came home to find our little cuties squeezed into the same bed for the first time ever in two years.  Even though there are 3 separate beds.  They never sleep together and are always fighting for our affections but seem to get along very well when they are outside and running around.  Made me so happy to see this!

After our meetings for the day were over we headed back to the hotel to change for "Red Bash" and grab a quick bite to eat.  Having never attended before I didn't quite know what to expect. When we returned to the Phoenix Convention Center we were directed back to the "Main Stage" area only this time there were no chairs.  The huge room was now set with a stage with musical instruments and a secondary stage to the right.  There was also a small casino area for all to "gamble" with chips they had received from vendors during the day.  Almost immediately the lights dimmed and someone came onto the secondary stage and began to sing..no one I recognized.  Then, one right after the other came to the stage and sang as each song ended.  I began to realize those singing were Keller Agents from ...
