How the times have changed, not only the buildings, but the people. The Washington Grange (313 in North Plains, Oregon) has seen some major changes over the years. The first grange was built on the site you see below in the early 1900s and in 1951, the new grange was built. Below is the new grange and though it has seen some better days itself, it still stands for the community just as the day it did when it was built. Many weddings and other events have taken place here over the years and even parts of the original grange are still in use today as the roof of a local barn. (Unfortunately I couldn’t find it to get pictures) But, the grange has seen a change over the years in the number of people involved in it.
