Well folks the numbers are in for 2009 for Locust Lake Village's Real Estate Transactions! Basically a dead heat to 2008 showing once again what the experts are saying and that is that we have hit the bottom of this market and it is now at a stabilizing period. Some older homes are going for a little less while some newer homes are going for a little more but they are all staying True to Value for our present day market! Here we go: 2008 - 29 Properties had sold, O of which were Lakefronts. Average List Price was $188,234. Average Sold Price was $172,212, 90% of asking price ~ A Very Healthy Ratio! Government safety regulators say more than 2.1 million dropside cribs by Stork Craft Manufacturing are being recalled, the biggest crib recall in U.S history. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall involves 1.2 million cribs in the United States and almost 1 million in Canada, where Stork Craft is based. Nearly 150,000 of the cribs on recall carry the Fisher-Price logo. The agency is aware of four deaths of young children who suffocated in the cribs, which have a side that moves up and down to allow parents to lift children from the cribs more easily. 11/23/2009
