  Daylight Savings Time is coming to an end. This means most Americans will be setting their clocks back one hour and returning to Standard Time on Sunday, November 2nd at 2 a.m.   Although I don't like it - it gets dark too soon - I'll live with it - wake up earlier, go to bed earlier.   The last few occasions we had a time change, my I-phone went to the new time first and a few weeks later the Blackberry followed suit.  I know this has to do with that Congress mandated time change law, but I'm wondering: is that something that has been addressed, or should I count on the time discrepancy yet again?   I would appreciate any feedback from you!   Mirela Monte, Your Myrtle Beach Real Estate Connection

SHAG DANCING IS A GREAT WAY TO EXERCISE!!!  When I moved to Myrtle Beach, I found a new passion.  When I began shag dancing, I also found a great way to exercise.  North Myrtle Beach has night clubs where friends and visitor meet to dance the night away.  If you don't dance, you can still have a great time socializing.  Shag dancing requires a partner, but you do not have to be a couple in order to dance.  In fact, I enjoy dancing with different partners.  Come and join us!

I'm in my home now, which is shelter enough.  My office is less than a mile from the beach and I hope all is well there!  My home is about seven minutes to the beach, so I'm not that close. After that last BIG hurricane I went to the beach as soon as the storm ended and took numerous pictures that early morning.  The storm had eaten into the Cherry Grove Pier, practically chopping it in half.  The top of the pier had landed a couple of miles away on an Ocean Drive stretch of the beach by Tilghman Estates.  The tattered flag was still attached way at the top of it.  I watched as this young woman climbed up on it and retrieved the flag.  She had tears in her eyes.  I started talking with her.  Turned out she was one of the Princes (the family who owns the pier).  She had that stoic look ...
