Another Centreville, VA Single Family Home Sold! On June 4th (2014,) I was happy to place this single family home located at 5629 Rocky Run Drive in Centreville on the market.  Back in August 2007, I had helped the owners purchase this very home for $457,000 in a multiple offer situation.  Little did we know at the time that the market had some falling left to do. What Does a Real Estate Agent Want For Their Birthday? Out of curiousity, before attending a listing appointment about a month ago, I ran some numbers on myself.  I wanted to know, on average, how long it takes me to get a home under contract.  I eliminated Short Sales.  They are the last chosen and a small portion of the marketplace.  The days on market for those can reflect three different buyers coming and going.   So the average days it took for me to get a regular sale under contract, taking all my regular sale listings that have sold since Januaury 2013, was 6 days.  The high was 22 days.   Today I am hoping that the evening showing of my most recent listing in Centreville, being on day 6 of its marketing period, is going to result in an offer.  The Seller joked with me that I had... 06/10/2014
