Stowe Wine & Food Classic will take place at Trapp Family Lodge from Friday June 12th at 5:00 through Sunday June 14th at 4:00.  This 17th annual event is a fundraiser for the benefit of Copley Hospital and The Vermont Food Bank.  Recent Stowe Wine & Food Classics have netted roughly $20,000 each of donations split between the two charities.  In the 16 years that the event has been running, donations have raised close to $290,000 for charity.There will be tastings of over 100 wines from around the world along with an array of food choices from several area restaurants, cheese makers and brewers.  There will be wine seminars, cooking demonstrations, live and silent auctions, dancing and a gala wine pairing dinner.  The Blues and Brews kickoff party will begin on Friday evening at 6:00 an... 06/10/2015

Stowe Home and Garden Show will take place at Stowe High School on Barrows Road on March 28th and 29th, 2015. The event has free admission, however donations would be appreciated and would benefit Stowe Theatre Guild. The event takes place from 10-6 on Saturday and from 10-4 on Sunday. There will be approximately fifty vendors at the event including home remodelers, landscapers and energy efficiency experts.   Stowe, Vermont - Home Sales Market Report - 2000 through 2014   As real estate brokers, we are often asked "so, how's the market?"  During 2014, we could sense that the home sales in Stowe were picking up.  After finally taking some time to crunch the numbers, I can affirmatively say the YES, the market is picking up!   What do I look at to come to this conclusion?  Mostly just the facts. 1.  The Number of Home Sales in Stowe in 2014 were up 8%                             2.  The Average Number of Homes available for sale in 2014 was down (just a tad) by about 1% 3.  The Average Sale Price of Homes Sold in Stowe was $598,870.  That's about 9% higher than 2013.
