Every time we disparage the state of the economy and talk about the terrible state of real estate, we create a self fulfilling prophesy. This is my last Sunday at the Antique Gallery where I have had a space for roughly two years. The building was sold and the owner of my business didn't tell anyone she was moving and when. As a result I continued to accumulate merchandise for the fall and winter I never would have bought had I kn...
Today will be a mixed bag. I have an appointment later to show one of my big pieces to a buyer at the antique gallery I am vacating. I never count my money until it is in my pocket. I don't fish but I love the idea of "gone fishing." Opting out for a bit is appealing and I think that this expression is wonderful. I don't know what would work for me but maybe just a drive in a new direction without any navigation. I think this afternoon I am going to try this. See you later.
It is early in the Berkshires and I have already been out and back from a annual test at a local hospital. I like going out early before the world wakes and traffic shows itself. I have errands to do and information to post on items I am selling online. Soon my time at the antique center will be ...
I will never understand when a price is stated whether for a home, a car or an antique why someone one inquires about availability and then goes away without further queries. Perhaps there is room to negotiate but the buyer will never know unless they pursue it. Why ask in the first place unless ...
