I have worked with the high end Borrowers and closed million dollar plus loans. I have worked equally hard for the $50,000 buyer who I needed to put 4 people on the loan to qualify. I have always taken the consultative approach to loan origination because in the end, you have a referral source for life. People appreciate it when you take the time to walk them through the home buying process and explain in great detail what it takes to get them to the closing table. My wife says I have more patience than anyone she has ever known and I believe that is an important aspect of lender when working with 1st Time Homebuyers.
