I am a Realtor in Sumter, SC the home of Shaw AFB and Swan Lake Gardens. Shaw AFB is the home of the 20th Tactical Fighter Wing and 9th Air Force. Swan Lake is the home to the only collection of all 8 breeds of swans and can be viewed each day with a relaxing walk around the lake. Swan Lake also boast the largest free Christmas Light Display in South Carolina with over 1 million lights. For those with fishing in their blood Santee Cooper Lakes are only 30-45 minutes from Sumter. Santee has bass, crappie, bream, catfish to name a few of the fish in the lakes. Two hours to the east and southeast is Myrtle Beach and Charleston. Forty miles to the west lies the capital city of Columbia and 150 miles to the northwest is the Smoky Mountains. Sumter is truly in the middle of everything.
After over 21 years in the USAF, I retired in Sumter, SC where I became a Realtor. I say this to say that I have the military moving experience to know what military buyers and sellers deal with and are faced with each and everytime you PCS. My wife Lynn is also a Realtor and as a team we can respond quickly to your questions and concerns.
