I am a broker associate with Realty Executives Premier in Valparaiso, IN specializing in residential real estate buying and selling.
Although I grew up in Western Pennsylvania, Indiana has been my home for the past 20+ years. I have been a real estate professional since 2004, working hard to educate myself to keep up with the changing demands of the real estate industry. From entry level sales person to licensed associate broker and then adding specialized classes and designations to add to my resume, I strive to be the best I can be for my real estate clients.
I practice a "Cient-first" real estate business using the Golden Rule as the highest of Ethical Standards and guide for my business practices. In fact, did you realize that the REALTOR Code of Ethics draws it basis of interpretation from that ageless standard?
The term REALTOR® has come to connote competency, fairness, and high integrity resulting from adherence to a lofty ideal of moral conduct in business relations. No inducement of profit and no instruction from clients ever can justify departure from this ideal. In the interpretation of this obligation, REALTORS® can take no safer guide than that which has been handed down through the centuries, embodied in the Golden Rule, "Whatsoever ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them."
As a part-time buyers agent my first year I completed over $1.3 million in closed real estate sales. Each year since then I have continued as a multi-million dollar producer including: new homes, existing homes, REOs and short sales and leases.

Scott is e-pro certified. Ten years ago the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) developed the e-PRO® certification program to teach members how to effectively use real estate technology to grow their business. Even with the availability of the e-PRO certification, under 5% of REALTORS hold this designation.
Scott has also earned the Harris Real Estate University Accredited Short Sale Designation having completed extensive training in negotiating and closing Short Sales. This expertise is invaluable at a time when the nation's housing market is devastated by millions of distressed home owners thrust into the foreclosure process.
The Short Sale of a property allows the distressed owner, through their Realtor, to find a buyer willing to purchase their home before they are forced into the foreclosure process. The owner can then use proceeds to repay their lender, even if the amount is less than what they actually owe on the property. In the current economy nearly all lenders are willing to consider Short Sales because they are less costly and time-consuming than foreclosures.
