The Susan Morris Team was VERY helpful in a very difficult transaction. My family and I were relocated from Denver, Colorado to Ft. Lee, VA in February 2013. Susan Morris came highly recommended from Keller Williams in Denver, Colorado. I contacted Susan via e-mail, and she called me right away. She is very knowledgeable about the schools and VA area. This was really important to us considering we have a young child. Within no time (1 week), Susan found us our dream home. Since the home was a foreclosed property, this dream home did not come without its fair share of nightmares. The seller's side of the transaction (bank and agent) was very slow to respond. To make matters worse, there was a leak at the property that took months for the bank to fix before we could close. At times, my family and I were ready to give up, but Susan didn't let us. She continued to advocate and cheer us on when any small progress was made. Almost four months later of living in a hotel, we were scheduled to close. The day of close, the seller's side wanted to post-pone the closing. Susan pulled every string, made all the necessary phone calls, and put her commission on the line to make sure we closed that day. It was a very emotional moment, and to celebrate, her team bought each member of our family (dog and ferret included) a present to commemorate our moving out of a hotel. She is a very caring person who put up with a lot of heartache to close our deal, and her good deeds continue. On Father's Day, my husband received a handwritten card from her wishing him a Happy Father's Day. Shortly after we closed, I had to leave on a two week trip out of the country. Considering the stress of unpacking etc., Susan contacted my family to invite them to dinner. This gesture is above and beyond, and I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the Susan Morris Team for their hard work, generosity, and friendship. If you are looking to move to the Richmond area, you would be a fool to not use her.
