That range is pretty much the amount of the deposits on many properties in the markets around here. So nothing close to that range (average around the 800k mark).

We do have homes for sale in that price range and I do work with investors and just closed a short sale with a client who is doing a great job restoring an old farm house.  It will be a special property for him to live in once he finishes!

I have worked with clients in this range, while I do not focus on this range, I do have a couple of clients in this range.  Generally, they are tear downs, however, you can find that needle in the haystack which is a home that is in good shape and the owner in selling the home to help them in their next stage in life.

I work with buyers in any price range if I am not busy.  If I get busy then I pass the lower priced ones off.

On a rare occasion we would represent a leasing yes we would do a lower end property, but that would not be our main focus. Like you said, "you never know where it could lead to".

We do have homes in that price range in San Antonio. Most are purchased by investors. They are often renovated and then "flipped" I do work in this price range also.

Yes...they may not always be in the price range...I had one from about 10 years ago that went from 45,000 to over 300,000.  so yes and they get the sme great service

there is almost nothing you can buy for 30-60k in my area....almost nothing except for mobile houses. I'd take such client, why not. They need to start with something.

LOL...I don't think there's even anything close to that price range in our market.  Median home price is 650,000 (and average is higher).  If I was a realtor, I would want to focus on mid-higher range.
