Like you, I sold one owned by an incarcerated owner. On the refrigerator of that property was a magnetic advertising for family discounts offered by a bail bondsman.

Today, an inherited property has one rogue sibling who has decided to travel the world (last thought to be in ROMANIA) as a gypsy. It is unknown if this free spirit is alive, incarcerated, headed to Syria or basking in the sunshine on Miami beaches? Meanwhile, the 'responsible one' is paying all the bills and unable to sell. The attorneys in the USA and Sweden will need to sort this one out.

One of my first listings was an antique colonial that was filled with antiques....the heirs wanted to include everything that was in the house incudin a prothetic leg from the deceased, clothing in the dresser drawer and every shelf in the house filled with stuff.... I found a buyer....and the buyer had the items assessed by an antique dealer..... the 12 room antique sold in the $30k range....the antiques were sold for $60k.... 

I had a listing that the seller committed murder, and the seller decided to let everyone know.  Took a while to sell that one.

I've had two different homes in two different communities that were the scenes of a murder. I'm working on one now that is pretty unique. I can't disclose much at this time. 

I had an REO property where it had a huge hole in the living room floor. I was afraid that someone viewing the home would fall in. Thank goodness the first buyer bought it and I didn't find any dead bodies that fell through the floor.

I had 13 but none in jail...

Your story would hard to top. 

Beatrice Briseno I had a similar situation with a Mother going into intensive care and passing away. There were eight heirs all over the United States and one was homeless.

I don't believe I could ever top a Death Row inmate as a seller! My more unusual listings now seem very plebian compared with your story!

On two occasions I listed and sold an estate sale where three daughters were involved and had to clear out the house before listing it. 

That would have been one very interesting listing. Talk about a nightmare.

Beatrice Briseno - well, recently listed a home built in 1815 - and it seems pretty unusual to market it.

My very first listing was an acre of land over the mountains and in the next county that my next-door neighbor owned. Had to ride out with another agent who had a truck to put up the sign. Selling price was about $15,000.
