Annie, I learned a new phrase today!  Yeah, I think that he'd do better on Match.com if he's looking for love.  And I've heard that everyone misrepresents their identity there.  But that many aliases?  (Not sure what the plural of alias might be).  That's a little creepy.

The old I want to know you better line? This reminded me of the time I was in the Mall, minding my own business, walking around and some desperado, singles me out, comes up to me and says pssssst...Do you want to make a lot of money? ME: NO.   He is dumbfounded because I didn't hestiate and asked again. ME: NO....using my firm, no-nonsense, eye-contact with voice/demeanor authority. The guy left & quickly too.

I haven't been catfished, nor do I care for it. But off and on many of us have gotten emails expressing interest in getting to know us or establishing a relationship, etc. Often a number of people have gotten the same email. Glad you pursued your research and let Bob know, and us!

I've gotten a couple of these.  One from a "consumer" who was allegedly an attractive single woman in Santa Maria.  Have to love scammers for a laugh.
