I'm a"mazed" you even ask

It is a lovely garden puzzle.  We traversed through one at a Chateau in the Loire Valley.  It was lots of fun.  A

A garden of hedges with a confusing pathway inside.

A walkway with many turns and blockages making it difficult to get from the start to finish!

The route that my agent often uses as we go out looking at potential investment properties.

That is historical ... I seem to always be a MAZED by what I see and hear in my daily life.  

I am sorry I missed the portcullis question - that one I knew - I assume a maze is like a corn maze or a hedge maze like the one at Hampton Court? 

I'm amazed by some of the responses.   

A Maze is what i faced at a new listing appointment of a hoarder. Oh my is all i can say and i have some work to do. 

Something to test the mind of a visitor!

I've never seen a maze designed with shrubs....that must be a great aerial photo... just saw it with a Google search....

Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers - looks like I missed yesterday's question. Learning about Portcullis and will wait for 'Maze' - though guessing, I have been to one such maze in CT.

It's a labryinth you have to get through to find the prize.  Get lost and the Minataur will eat you!

Right now with the harvest season we are seeing a lot of corm mazes.

We had a Maze down the road in the middle of a corn field.  It's where all those kids got lost.  Now they are called "Children of the Corn".

A money making sideline for farmers in the corn harvesting business near lots of children who want to get lost in tall plants.

I saw a corn maze at the pumpkin patch today!

I have seen garden mazes made of hedges and they are attractive and pleasant place to take a walk.

At this time of year we have corn mazes in my area. 

Something I wonder I would be able to get out of! :-)

Re yesterday's Q - the French do like their "vertical" contraptions... Is a maze something like a corn maze or formal garden maze?

My neighbor corn field this time of year.

Maze is anything that causes one to think and recharge its brain. I typically tend to get lost in a corn maze during the month of October...
