Not many... most do not leave a phone number to call them. I respect that. I also don't like being called if I don't leave a phone number.

I don't depend on leads from my website.  Most of the people who are using it are already clients by the time I send them to my IDX site.

Email is the preferred method for my clients.  They're ususally from overseas and the time zone can be an issue. If they want to provide a phone # they can but I prefer email too.  I've not ever had one go AWOL.

I typically call between 15 to 25 new leads.  I usually reach about 25% on the first try (of those with the correct phone numbers).

It's different every week - as others have said, if they don't leave a number, I simply email.  But, if they do leave a number, I have someone who specifically responds to the leads and it is immediate. Her conversion rate is fairly high with phone calls - not so much with email leads.
