Definitely a scam. The email address (ant11160@ucmo.edu) has nothing to do with the Google Team.

Well I don't see the email you reference, but I am on myiPad which could be the issue. I have had a ton of emails from Google in the last few months that are clearly spam/scam

Scams every day, it pays to be very cautious.

You can immediately see the return address is not from anything Google would send you. It's a scam.

Rebecca, it has been my experience that if it is legitimate they address you by name, NOT user or subscriber.

I have not received that email. I think it is probably a scam.

I got a message from my Yahoo account saying that a request for cancelling the account had been requested.   Several links.  I hit Delete.

That seems like spam to me. Don't do it. Look at the email address...that doesn't seem like one that anyone with google would use.

One way to determine if an e-mail is a scam is to click on reply. If the e-mail address looks phony, it is defiantly a scam....
