6. 1/2 day-initially, I dedicated 4hours in one day to set it up and train on it/get familiar with it and then daily I use it all day long as my core business tool. It's one of the major things I did to improve my business.

Not familiar with both companies. 

I have used Referral Maker way back when and wasn't thrilled (but it was free to me so can't say anything about ROI). Have not used Brivity. These are essentially robust CRM's... I believe every agent needs a robust CRM and to me it's not a question of ROI... it's a cost of doing business. I use IXACT for around $35/month and don't consider it a huge cost of doing business.

I have not used either, but interested if anyone could add some insight what each do, what they dont do, what they like or dont like?

Bob Crane - The most important difference: ReferralMaker has 'Relationships' - not just any database.

(They do have a trial - however, call me and we can talk about it.)

A good way to learn more about any CRM, is to go to Youtube and do a search for the CRM. Most CRMs have plenty of instructional videos, and if you watch a few, you'll have a good idea about them.

Several here use Brivity I have not. I have heard from Praful Thakkar that Buffini's CRM is the best ever. I don't know about that one either.

The winner should be the one that makes clear their 'inbound' marketing startegy they use. Such a platform IS the one you want to use. If they are mum or think email is inbound marketing, you need to keep shopping.

However, these essential CRMs do not come with a $30 a month 'shiny thing' fee.

Brivity makes a pretty landing page for the cloud cma signup. I got rid of bivity and just use the cloud cma landing page. Saved $100 a month and have not noticed a change in lead generation. I don't use brivity for their other stuff.
