Seems like I just did a soffit repair in Elk Grove   Being a general contractor who regularly does repairs on apartment buildings, I get the benefit of seeing a lot of the same sorts of problems. This is an asset for a contractor like me, I learn from previous experiences. That can only be good for everyone involved.   I just repaired an identical leak on the same property not long ago. We learned that it was a roof leak and that it needed to be repaired first, than the drywall and wood could be replaced. This time the roof was patched before they called me to come fix it.   These areas are situated above the stairway and we need (we learned) to have certain ladders that weren’t too long or short to get to where we need to be.
