Loveland had 21 New Listings this past week. i think that people were trying to get things done before the holidays. The hard part for us, is that our contracts and forms are changing on Jan 1, 2011 and we are not supposed to be using them until Jan 1, 2011. Something free and fun to do in the Fort Collins area. Embassy Suites in Loveland,CO has again constructed a life-size gingerbread house for the holiday season.Additions this year include the watch tower and the dog house for Max, the pet dog of the gingerbread people.The house construction included over 500 pounds of flour, 158 pounds of sugar, four gallons of molasses and three gallons of honey. IF I SAVED $220 THIS YEAR I WOULD.... Nothing like creating joy for children that are less fortunate than we are. With the $220.00 in savings from Kodak and at a cost of about $8.00 per shoe box you could create gifts of joy for over 27 children. The items that we put in here are mostly school supplies, puzzles, reading books and little stuffed animals. Simple to us with our video games, ipods, iphones and such, but to a child in another country, it is perhaps their first gift wrapped present ever. Other suggestions are to put photos of your family inside this shoebox along with the letter to that special child, letting him or her know that he or she is special. We know how great it it feels to give to someone you love a gift that is so overwhelming they are speechless. Imagine even more so doing that for a complete stranger. When I lived in California I use to attend a church that did just that and I have to say, I am still emotionally touched by it! Given the various articles on community giving, this story deserved it only blog.. Sometime around the summer of each year, my former church in California, (goharvest.org) would send out several people to churches all over the USA and have them "attend" and scope a church out. No fan-fare involved. The churches had no idea they were there or if they did, they were just "passing through"... I am not really sure of all they were looking for, but they had a mission. This is an area that I personally feel is crucial for real estate agents. You have to know your various forms of payment as much as you need to know your merchandise....It is not just about selling the home, but about instilling hope and excitement into a potential buyer. My experiences are that there are many buyers out there that THINK they can not buy because they have no clue about the various programs offered by each state, county and lender. Example :  I go to a furniture store and I see a great living room set. I ask the sales person how can I buy this.. He says - I don't know.. You have to go back to customer service and ask.
