The Broadview Heights Ohio Recreation Center has great programs for all ages but here are some specific ones that senior citizens might enjoy or find useful. Beginner computer classes, a series of 6, two hour sessions, but limited to 7 students per class. Time and date will be scheduled upon registration.   The SMILE program, which is a low intensity exercise program designed for physically inactive older adults, who may have limited mobility. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. (My Mom and Dad who are 86 and 85 attend this every week.)   Like to play cards? Yesterday  the city of Broadview Heights Ohio announced that the summer festival, which so many people, residents and non-residents alike have enjoyed for years, has been cancelled. They cited worries about the lack of sponsors, and not the same level of spending by the attendees, fearing they would likely be in the red when all was said and done.I can only remember one other time in the years that we have attended (about 14) that the fest was canceled, though I can't remember the reason.What I do remember is the wonderful time my daughter has always had at this event.
