Insulation.....Not Just For Attics Anymore! I had a client who for days had heard the pitter patter of tiny feet in her attic above the kitchen. The sounds were never for very long but they were constant for it seemed like weeks. She finally called a pest control company to come out and inspect the attic area. When the company came out they found nothing!.... So to make a long story short....She finally looked all around her home and found a small piece of the vinyl siding that had fallen and to her surprise a squirrel was going in and taking insulation out and up the tree to his nest that was only feet from the house. Old Barns In Bristol Tn Va As I travel around the Bristol Tn Va Area showing property I love to stop and take photos of some really neat barns that I come across from time to time. Winter Photos In Bristol Tn Va Today was another one of those snow days in the Bristol Tn Va area. It seems like it has snowed everyday since November! And with our current weather conditions being that of snow and cold temperatures I took out to capture some of the beautiful Winter Photos In Bristol Tn Va. I went to the farm where I grew up, and snapped a few shots...here are just a few. Holston Valley Golf Course Bristol Tn This post was inspired by one I read today about some dedicated  golfers playing in the rain and it reminded me of the course I grew up playing on! Holston Valley Golf Course Bristol Tn was a great little course just outside the city limits of Bristol Tn Va in the county near where I grew up and although it's no longer there it brings back a lot of memories that I'll never forget! It was like playing in a cow pasture but it had nice greens most of the time and they would always let you play no matter what the current weather was!   It's the course I played my first round on...maybe that's why Holston Valley Golf Course Bristol Tn means so much to me! Turn That Ice Maker Off And Empty The Ice If you plan on going out of town for the week or even just for the weekend you should always turn off the ice maker and empty the ice before you leave. I shot this photo today which is of Paperville Babtist Church, in the city of Bristol Tn which was established in 1910. According to local history Paperville was a roaring place back in the late 1800's - early 1900's and although this structure had been updated and well maintained I still felt like it was an Images Of Time Gone By. Youth Basketball In Bristol Tn Va Youth Basketball in Bristol Tn Va is alive and well. They say this is where character begins - in our youth. It's been said that keeping our kids occupied by other activities other than just going to School goes a long way in keeping our youth out of trouble. Bringing In The New Year With Family There just seems to be something different about bringing in the New Year as you grow older. Break it Before it Breaks YOU! I've been thinking for days how to come up with a new motto or slogan for 2011 that would work for anybody in any walk of life and it hit me as I got started this morning, that we all should enter the New Year with a new attitude! I've read a lot of post recently about how to start a new habit and that it takes 21 days to do that...BUT I propose for 2011 that we break the old routines we have come accustom to and strive for new, different and better ways of doing things.
