What to expect when building a new house. After the visiting the design center, so much happened. We go every 2 days and looked carefully at all the changes and to make sure all was what we expected. First, they scraped the lot. Most of the trees were junipers in poor condition. They left a few that weren't in the way of the house plan. This view is looking from front to back. There will not be a house behind us. Then they framed the foundation. The plumbing piping was set in and the foundation was poured. You can see the garage in the front with a swing-in entry from the right. At this point we identified what all the pipes went to.
