In a world where buyers start their home search online, it only makes sense to have an online presence. I have found the systems that I learned by getting my IMSD Designation to be invaluable. I have a laser focus that I am honing daily with all of my online business activities. Social Media is fun and now, for me, it is profitable. In my book, it is all pros, no cons. IMSD course work, webinars and support have truly boosted my confidence and knowledge in the realm of internet marketing and of course social media. The teaching method is fun and engaging and I believe Chad Hyams and Chris Smith LOVE the work they do! I have highly recommended to colleagues and will continue to do so. My membership will renew at the end of this month (November 2012) and have given absolutely no thought to not renewing. I obtained my e-Pro designation in 2006 and I've been on ActiveRain since 2007, so I had a good base of knowledge going into this course. I have thoroughly enjoyed the webinairs and the way Chad Hyms presents the information. It has filled in the gaps on my knowledge and given me a comprehensive framework in which to organize my knowledge. I'm having some difficulty keeping up with the homework, which is why I haven't completed the designation yet. The homework is valuable as it requires you to directly apply what you learned and are mostly things you need to do anyways even if you weren't taking the course. I can't imagine a better designed course. Excellent!

The internet Marketing Specialist Designation (IMSD) is a terrific learning tool for the rookie agent or the 25 year veteran. It is a real eye opener. It shows us that 95% of our buyers and sellers are starting their search on the internet and if you are not there to meet them, you may not meet them at all.
This designation is a great tool if you want to do it all yourself, even if you don't do anything, it is a great source of knowledge for any agent.
The best part is the ability to watch webinars over and over again. Every time I watched the webinar I learned another trick.
It is a whole new world of leads, and how to get your share of leads and then what to do with the leads once you have the them. (10 days of pain) LOL.

WOW – I highly recommend IMSD. This course is all about learning and implementing. If you take the course and don’t do the homework and implement you cannot expect miracles to happen. We must do the work. A wealth of knowledge and experience is transferred to students. I technically completed the course in August 2012. The information keeps coming … the training is still available for me to resource, if necessary. Some of the teachings I already knew about and/or had already implemented in my business. That does not mean I was not able to catch a few jewels from the courses. We can always improve what we are doing and learn more.

I am a member of IMSD and very impressed with their level of expertise and program structure. The courses are easy to take and very informative. There is accountability built in with homework assignments that actually help you in your business when you complete them.
I would highly recommend this program to anyone and everyone who wishes to learn more about internet marketing and increase their business success.

Ever wonder if people really want your review, or if they just want a good review?
I took the IMSD class, I consider myself on the 'techy' side. Almost leading edge. I like to know what's coming and what's the next big thing. I was hoping for 'higher' learning from the IMSD training.
While the classes were good, they weren't great. Numerous times I spent the time doing the class, doing the home work, and wondering, "WHY? I'm already doing this. I already know this.
That being said, if you're new to technology and need some assistance getting Facebook, Twitter, Blogs set up this may be the training you need. I was hoping for more.

IMSD offers a ton of information about internet marketing for real estate agents. I've learned about everything from Yelp, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and oh yeah Pinterest too.
I haven't finished the designation, but I'm not worried about that because of the amount of knowledge I have gained. I consider myself an advanced social media user but you know what? There is always something to learn whether it's a simple how-to or a question about strategy.
