I LOVED this phone...an early gift from Santa...apparently now according to T-mobile just a little toooo early. After just 9 months of care free use it has developed a "dead defect" and for no reason experiences silence on one or both ends of the conversation. The store technician told us she returned hers four times before trading for another model...which they will gladly do with a "loss" of 2/3 of the purchase price for a phone they admit did not have all the bugs out of it before it was released. They will send a reconditioned replacement as often as you wish. I love the size of the screen and built in stylus...the new ones are smaller without that built in feature....and hoping the re-cycled replacement works for another year...sigh.

If I wasn't an iPhone user I would definitely put the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 at or near the top of my list as phone of choice. The smart phones these days are so much more than phones - web browser, text application, calendar reminders, purchasing Verifly insurance for aerial drone operations, it's a very lengthy list and there are very few if any tasks you can't do on a smart phone that you can only do on a desktop or laptop computer. The only limitation is visibility due to the size of the screen.

My 5 star favorite – Samsung Galaxy Note 3 – is now over three years old. It still out performs most of the newer offerings in every way that matters to me.
I know someday, maybe someday soon, I will need to replace my aging phone. I’ve considered replacing it before it fails to avoid downtime and the need to make a quick purchase. But after months of watching the reviews nothing looks substantially better to me. Certainly nothing seems worth the $650+ expenditure while my Note 3 continues to perform almost flawlessly.
As 2016 comes to a close I am looking at the new crop of smartphones, knowing when my phone fails I’ll need to act quickly. I much prefer the Android OS over iOS, so my next phone won’t be an Apple product. But I am giving the latest Google phone strong consideration. So far my top two choices are the Samsung Galaxy S7 (or the S7 Edge) and Google Pixel XL.

Now that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is about to hit the market, I still feel, this was the best beginning of the series for Samsung.
I bought Samsung Note 3 as soon as it was available on the market - and no regrets.
One of the best smart phone for business purpose. The most important feature of this phone is - the screen size (which has not changed much with newer generation phones - showing this was the right size.)
Getting older so what I needed most was a bigger screen where I can read easily. Of course, there are many other great features of this phone. Goes without saying, one of the best smart phones for business needs.

I had this phone for 2 years when my husband - also a REALTOR - needed a new phone. It has been such a great work horse for me so I asked him if he thought it would be a good choice for his replacement. The size is larger than what he had but fit easily in his pocket. That was his only issue, otherwise he really like it.
We bought a refurbished Note 3 for him at a deep discount. Over a year later it is working perfectly and he LOVES it. Great photos, easy web browsing and email management, and no difficult learning curve (he is not a techie). I could quickly show him what matters most so he was a power user from Day 1. We're a two Note family now :-)

The best feature of the Note 3 is the massive screen size. For those who use their phone for mobile browsing and internet surfing, there isnt a much larger phone available that does such a good job. It is nearly a tablet in size, so its not going to fit in your shirt pocket.

One of the best things about this phone is that it is easy for me to read without having to make adjustments. I am busy so the stylus is a lifesaver for me. Finding a pen in my black hole of a purse can not only look unprofessional but unorganized. Everything being at my fingertips is awesome.

I have had a Galaxy of one kind or another for over 3 years. I will keep the Galaxy and probably get the new Galaxy S6.
It has so many easy features that make my life as a realtor much easier.
You can even take pictures by just saying the word "click".
That means your hands are free..

I just made the switch from an iPhone 4 to the Note 3. I thought I'd be an iPhone user for the rest of my life, but ya know what? I almost threw my iPhone out the window one too many times. I needed a bigger screen (I couldn't read well, especially while in the car - relax, I don't drive my self around, I have a driver usually) AND the iphone would always do what IT wanted to do rather than what YOU wanted it to do. So, in lieu of the iPhone 6 - I took the plunge to switch to Samsung and see what all the hype is about. Well, I've had my phone for three weeks now (got a deal on an unlocked note3) and to my amazement, it works! It is intuitive, it has "splitscreen" so I can multi-task, the visuals are stunning, and the keyboard types what I type, not what it "feels" like I should be typing. The size is actually not as cumbersome as some may think. You get used to it. Battery life is great, speakerphone is awesome, and the app marketplace and multi-device sync is really good too. The only pitfall? The touchscreen is very sensetive, so sometimes when I open the Samsung brand case, I accidentally mash a button and open an app.
