I have worked for both very large financial institutions such as Chase Home Mortgage and City Federal Savings & Loan before becoming an independent mortgage banker. As an independent mortgage banker, we operate very similar to an independent insurance agent. We shop our investor database of over 100 different lenders to find the best mortgage loan program for my client.
