Originally from Philadelphia, I've also lived in NYC and Winter Park, Florida. I've been in Maryland for a few years now and plan on sticking around. I've previously been done web design and sales for a company that sold electronics, personal training and serving. I still am very passionate about fitness and living healthy and continue to do personal training as a hobby. There was a period of time when I actually breakdanced as a part time job and will never forget what an amazing experience it was.
I received my Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Maryland, where I really grew to love economics, particularly the understanding of how government policy affects the economy. It is a topic that often comes up in discussions to this day.
These days, I am a loan officer for First Home Mortgage and am licensed in MD, VA and DC. We close loans fast, with a small panel of appraisers who know the area well, local processors and underwriters and offer a wide variety of loan products and down payment assistance options. I make myself available to clients on weekends and evenings and insist on doing whatever it takes to have customer service that is second to none. I have a great amount of support in my office, as well as a marketing rep that can put together excellent marketing material for realtors or other real estate professionals. Feel free to contact me for more informatioin on anything I've mentioned or for a quick preapproval.

|Source: http://www.yelp.com/biz/first-home-mortgage-bethesda-2 "I recently used First Home Mortgage (September 2013) for my home loan and it was a great experience. My Loan Officer was David Toaff and he was a pleasure to work with. David was professional, timely, and very helpful during the entire loan process. As many of you know the housing market moves quickly in DC. I originally was pre-approved for a VA loan through my credit union but had a really hard time finding condos in DC that were VA loan approved. The property that I was interested in was not VA approved so I was going to use a DC home buying program called DC Opens Doors for a conventional loan. Getting approval through my credit union for a condo conventional loan was nonexistent - I needed to have 20% cash for the down payment. First Home Mortgage was one of the lenders approved to work with the DC government for this program and this is how I met David. He looked at my numbers and suggested I not use the program since he could get me a better rate with a faster approval turnaround. Luckily the condo I was eyeing dropped into my price range and I was able to make an offer. David was able to produce a pre-approval letter with an hour so I could make the offer ASAP. Without his quick action I would not have been able to make the offer and there were 5 other people scheduled to see the property that evening. I did not meet David until the day of the settlement. Everything was done by email, fax, voicemail or text. He was available to me anytime I reached out to him. I appreciate that he was on top of things without being pushy, for example, requesting missing paperwork. His demeanor is perfect for this intense customer service position. My loan documents were finished almost a week before the original settlement date so we were able to move the closing date up because the paperwork was complete. My real estate agent commented this was not a common practice and she was very impressed. I recommend First Home Mortgage, and David Toaff specifically, for your lending needs. He was a valuable piece of my home buying experience."
