If you were to ask me years ago that I’d be selling real estate, I’d call you nuts!  What started as classes in becoming a licensed property manager, ended up with a new career path in real estate sales.

My wife and I started a cleaning company in 1989.  As we progressed through the years, we were asked to go outside the scope of general cleaning from many of our customers.   Property management seemed to be where we were headed.   What I didn’t know, to become licensed you had to show some sales experience under the guidance of a broker.

That’s where it all began.  I promoted myself initially by using my customer list from our successful company and soon grew to where I am today. Over the years I’ve listed and sold various properties throughout the Capital District and Adirondacks…I know the area very well, as I’m seventh generation to the Saratoga Springs area. 

What sets me a little different from the rest, you ask?  I come from a service oriented background, and have applied this to sales.  Prior to the start of our cleaning company, I worked at Saratoga Hospital for 12 years, starting as a dishwasher at the age of 16, and left at the age of 28 as a computer operator in the data processing department. 

I’m married to my wonderful wife Dawn who comes from Basingstoke England.  We’ve raised two sons, who are now hard working adults and reside in nearby Greenfield Center.  I graduated from Ballston Spa High School in 1981 then attended Adirondack Community College in Queensbury, earning an AS in Business Administration.  When I’m not working, I like to spend life in the outdoors with Dawn and our dogs…doing anything from hiking, gardening, going to concerts, or attending the MANY outdoor events and celebrations that are prevalent in our area!  We feel very fortunate to be living in this corner of the planet.  And you will too!
