I don't think inside the box in a real estate market that is on the down side. I look to seewhat I can do outside the box that is not the norm.
I am not a follower I am a leader. As a REALTOR you can sit in the office and wait for the telephone to ring and become what I call the "Maytag Realtor" but I choose to think of creative ways to find sellers or buyers in a slow market. We can promote our selves with advertising in the local newspaper but, who wants to look at another picture of a realtor.
So here is what i do. I go to the local flee market set up a table with listings of homes, give out promotional items, talk to the local people and tourist in the area to see if they are interested in buying a home in the Pocono's. I do get wierd looks but, they do stop to chat and tell me they never saw this done before. Do you see my point now!!!Think outside the box.
I also done senior expos in the area looking to see if they are looking to downsize their home. We also at our office did a garage sale. The agents brought their unwanted things to the office and we had a few tables and talked to people.
My passsion is first time home buyers. We all know how hard it is to save money to afford a downpayment and closing cost when we have high rents to pay. It seems it will take forever to save but you don't have to worry anymore here in PA because you have me to help you in getting grant money upto 10k. The process is so easy and within 2 days I can have you approve with the mortgage company in Allentown. These grants are not known at all by 75% local realtors in the Pocono's.
I have given seminars on these grants, newspaper articles have been done on me about what I do, been on the local news and many referrals from my new first time home buyers.
Please understand that their are guide lines that need to be met to get these grants. The number one qualification is your credit score must be a 620 and over. I will be more than happy to meet with you and go over then.
