Get to know Greg Kilroy

Greg graduated from University of Arizona in 1992 with dual majors in Real Estate and Finance. After a career in the bicycle industry as a manufacturer’s representative, Greg made the move to real estate in 2003. Greg made a quick transition,  earning recognition as Rookie of the Year from Keller Williams Southwest and as a finalist in the Phoenix Business Journal’s Real Estate Superstars Awards. Greg has continued to perform at a very high level, ranking in the top 5% of his peers in every year since 2003, and top 2% in 2013 and 2014.

Greg is a big proponent of education, and he both seeks out any learning opportunity that will enhance his skill set, and then teaches what he has learned to others. Greg has obtained additional non-required designations including – Graduate of the Realtor Institute, Certified Negotiation Expert, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, Certified Distressed Property Expert, Accredited Buyer Representative, Member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, Member of the Keller Williams International Luxury Division, and Affiliate Member of the American Institute for Architects Phoenix Metro chapter, where he has served on the Advisory Board in 2014 and 2015. Greg joined the faculty staff of Keller Williams Southwest in 2004, and has taught classes about getting started in the real estate business, property listing and marketing, and buyer consultation. Greg has also been certified by the State of Arizona to teach continuing education to other real estate licensees.

Greg’s cycling background oddly led to his focus on architectural properties. As it turns out, a number of local architects are cycling enthusiasts. The influence of spending time around these cycling architects helped foster an understanding and appreciation for the built structure as an opportunity for expression that isn’t present in tract homes.
