I  moved to NC in 1978 from Florida, and have lived in Lincoln County since 1990, when I bought land and built a house in the west end of the county.  I have been married to my beautiful wife Kristy since April of 1989, and I have three wonderful children. My  oldest daughter,  Laura,  is a sophomore attending Hollins University in Roanoke Va. on scholarship, and my twin 9 year olds, Emily and Amanda attend Lincoln Charter School.

     I drove a truck as a company driver for Western Auto, and later as an owner-operator, until leaving the industry in 2000.  After coming in from the road I have worked in several different industries including  restoring Mopar muscle cars in my family's business, and  I also took on the challenge, and mastered leather and wood finish  repair at Bradington-Young, an upscale furniture manufacturer.  I have also had the privilege of being a stay-at-home parent for my three kids while my wife finished her education and began her career.   All of these have lead me to the real estate industry.  I have come to enjoy the challenges of a tough market, and the satisfaction of helping people resolve their real estate goals.

 My wife,  Kristy is a 2005 graduate of UNCC, and is now a financial advisor for TIAA-CREF in Charlotte. The entire family are active  members of First Presbyterian Church of Lincolnton, where both Kristy and I are church elders. I am also involved in the Lincolnton Downtown Development Association, the Lincoln County Historical Association,  and Kristy co-leads a Girl Scout troop, and the whole family often volunteers with various organizations in town, including several Christian Ministry outreach programs, as we try to give back some of what this community has given to us.

Kristy and I  have often looked at other opportunities as things have changed in our life, but we think Lincolnton is where we want to spend our lives and raise our children.  Lincolnton has taken us in and made us welcome, and I would love to show others what a wealth of opportunities lie right here in our quiet little county.
