After working for four years as an agent with a well known real estate agency, I decided it was time to follow my dreams of becoming a broker and work out of my own office. Why pay $300 - $800 to go to an office and use my computer (I had to bring my own), when I could use it from my home office, save money and hafve a tax write off?

With the down turn of the market, I felt it was better to invest in destressed properties, remodel them and put them back on the market at a discount; so I joined the coaching team of Armando Montelongo. After intensely studying the ins and outs of buying and "flipping" (not to be confused with the illegal term of flipping), which means I buy the house and make the repairs neccessary to make it shine. Than the house is placed on the market, below market price, providing the buyer with immediate equity. It is a win win situation; the buyer is happy because he, she, or both, have a beautiful home and did not pay top dollar for it. The investor is happy because he or she will make a substantial amount on the investment. I am happy because I connected a heart to a home, gave the owners a discount, and made my partner and I a wonderful return on investment.
