Get to know Linda Niehuus

I moved to Nelsonville, a small town nestled between Bellville and Industry, in 1992 from Paris, France. Owning and operating a 76-acre ranch gives me unique insight into the pleasures--and challenges--of country living. Plus, having lived and worked internationally, I am equally comfortable working with professionals and high-end properties, and I completely understand the challenges of relocating.

Having begun my real estate career in 1974 in the Memorial area of Houston, my experience spans several decades of the sometimes wildly-fluctuating real estate market. As a real estate investor and owner of income producing properties, I understand and am able to evaluate the potential of investment real estate.

Buyers and Sellers alike benefit from my attention to details, ability to communicate, thoroughness in researching a property, and knowledge of the local market. Additionally, Sellers benefit from my previous marketing and advertising experience as I am able to position their property for the best possible exposure to the widest market of potential Buyers. I have achieved the Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI®) designation which has a marketing component in it and is similar to a Masters in the business world.

Buyers specifically benefit from my experience working with Buyers and having achieved the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation.

Certifications

I have received my Graduate of Realtor Institute (GRI) designation--comparable to having a Masters in Real Estate. I am also a Certified Home Marketing Specialist, with advanced knowledge and experience marketing all types of properties. I have begun working on the Accredited Land Institute designation, which involves expert knowledge of specific land use issues. And, I have achieved the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation as a result of my successful representatin of buyers. Having owned and operated a 76-acre ranch for the past 18 years, I bring a rancher's experience to the table for my clients looking for a country home, farm, ranch, or equestrian facility. I work in a four county area in the near Hill Country between Houston and Austin. I am also an experienced real estate investor and property manager.
